April 5, 200817 yr I love it how she says she doesn't "pretend to be English" classic. :heehee: She came across rather well, although the audience didn't really seem to "get her" I felt quite sorry for her when she talking about her past hits with no audience reaction. I think Adi was right - granny's attend that show. Are they really going to know any of her hits? Although when they played a collage of a few of her hits on FNP the crowd loved it, particularly WBT. :D All in all a good appearance but she came across loads better on FNP. ^_^

Are they really going to know any of her hits? I loved it when she was going through some of the songs Jermaine had done with her and only a few people went "woo" and she said "so we got two at least in the front". It is all grannies though, I feel weird for being such a young fan. April 5, 200817 yr All in all a good appearance but she came across loads better on FNP. ^_^ Hilariously, considering Kelly & I are not always on the same page with views & opinions (but I mean that in the most positive sense.). I thought she came across really, really well on the Paul O'Grady show, perhaps because she was disarmed by the aging Paul O'Grady audience's "Mariah who?" attitude to her back catalogue and whom were more familiar with "who" the other guest John Barrowman was, so therefore her guard was down and she came across as a relatively normal, likeable person with a self-depreciating sense of humour. Whereas I felt she appeared embarrassed during the Friday Night Project, as if she found our British sense of humour too out there and rude, but did not want to live up to her (negative) "Diva" image.
