Posted April 6, 200817 yr Source: NME.com The Last Shadow Puppets played a short two song set last night (April 5) at the Lock Tavern in Camden, London. Alex Turner and Miles Kane showed up in support of their friend Remi Nicole, who organised the party both to celebrate her birthday and to raise money for MS sufferers. The do was attended by the likes of Alexa Cheung and Pixie Geldof, and also featured a DJ set from Friendly Fires. Initally, Nicole took to the stage and announced that The Last Shadow Puppets would not be performing "because they've both got sore throats". Around midnight though, the duo took to the stage to perform 'Meeting Place' and then 'Standing Next To Me' - the latter being dedicated to the party's host. The Last Shadow Puppets album 'The Age Of The Understatement' is released on April 21. :cheer:
