No, albums are released on Mondays, to co-inside with the physical release. That's why album cherry-pics are also get into the iTunes charts on Mondays which often prevents them from the higher peak position. E.G. Kesha - Blah Blah Blah, Monday release, #3 in iTunes, #11 peak officially.

OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH

"Can't Fight This Feeling' is album-only, by the way... Is Polydor France supposed to release the song in the UK EVER?

They put about as much effort into the booklet as SEB did into the album.

Omg, that is embarrassing. That is absolutely very very bad. How can you not notice that when you put it in the booklet?!

I've also read that there are a gazillion googelplex mistakes in the booklet.

Oh dear at the booklet.

I can't possibly predict where this will peak, however the peak position doesn't mean a lot as TTLF comfortably made the top 10 and sold a grand total of diddly squat.

The reviews I've seen for this have been painful to read. Is it really that bad?

I haven't really been following the album campaign (if there's been one?!) but I actually really liked 'Bittersweet'.

Well it's not as bad as the review make it out to be but it's definitely not as good as I hoped it would be. Bittersweet is one of the highlights imo.

I keep playing Trip instead..

I would say this is a 3.5/5. Trip the Light for me is a 4.5/5.

But I know her loons on popjustice are very satisfied with this album :P

Trip The Light Fantastic is a pure 9/10 for me, almost a perfect album.

This new one is probably at a 8/10, I actually love it.

TTLF is a 10/10 album for me, one of my top 15 favourites of all time, this is 8/10 at best, it's got some good songs but isn't really very cohesive.
On Amazon for £3.99 this week, yes :D
I bought this physically today, mainly to complete my collection, but the booklet is an absolute embarrassment - has nobody heard of proof reading?
Oh dear, I figured that was just the Russian release  Will check for it in Sainsburys on teh way home (it's the only physical music retailer I get to regularly these days) but I doubt it's there. This will comfortably be top 40 anyway, and on recent evidence I would say top 20.

I will be getting this later in the month, when I get some money out of my Dad, he owes me.

Synchronised is by far the best on the album though

God, I know. My favourites are "better all fall down and bow" (on 'Revolution') becoming "better off or down and bow", "got" having two T's in 'Off And On', and "surge" spelt as "serge". Also that section in 'Not Giving Up On Love' that doesn't even exist?

Glad to finally own this album anyway, the wait has been akin to a prison sentence. <_<

I think Sophie did her best getting the album out. If she had still been with Fascination the album wouldn't have probably seen the light of day ever. Now, with the indie release, she won't care that much about the sales.

Btw, I hope for a top-10 on the first midweeks (wishful thinking much?? but still), but I don't think that even if she gets there on Tuesday she'll stick even in the top-20 by the end of the week...

Its chances of doing a 'Wonderland' are close to zero unfortunately. :(
