April 22, 200817 yr Ooooh didn't realise 1 Giant Leap were still around. I bought the album they brought out a few years ago with all the different artists contributing. Robbie was on it  singing 'My Culture' with Maxi Jazz. My Culture is one of my favourite Robbie songs ever. Never understood why it wasn't a mega hit. Don't see his name this time but pleased Will is contributing. :cheer: My Culture XiwW7E800hk
April 22, 200817 yr I remember Robbie doing that track with Maxi Jazz Jupter9, I'm sure it got in the top 20 didn't it? Will's performed with Maxi Jazz and One Giant Leap as well at Live 8 in Edinburgh and then with James Brown at the end of the concert. I'm looking forward to hearing the track he's done with them, it's on very late though. Edited April 22, 200817 yr by suggy

April 22, 200817 yr Hi guys. I forgot Will performed My Culture at the Edinburgh Live 8 concert. And very good he was too. Yeah, I think the original maybe scraped the Top 10 but it wasn't as big a hit as it should have been :(
April 23, 200817 yr Thanks for the clip Jupiter9. Don't forget tonight (or very early hours of tomorrow):- :cheer: Channel 4 - 12.05am -1.05am. 4Music What About Me? New Series 1/7 Bombardment. A reflection of human nature by 1Giant Leap. 7826927 (Don't know what happened there - it posted without me doing anything, and before I'd finished) :???: Edited April 23, 200817 yr by chrysalis
April 23, 200817 yr Thanks Chrysalis. Got the Sky box set just in case I don't get to watch it. I've series linked it as well. Edited April 23, 200817 yr by munchkin

April 24, 200817 yr Just watched what I videoed last night. I thought it a great programme. Did anyone else notice who the Executive Producer was and the company that made the film?
April 24, 200817 yr I watched a couple of minutes then fast forwarded to Will's bit  the song sounded good

Did anyone else notice who the Executive Producer was and the company that made the film? Yep - stood out like a sore thumb - gets his nose in everywhere  I did know that it was 19 - its Channel 4 - T4 and Popworld is theirs. You should watch the whole thing Sunday because its a building up of the entire track bringing all the seperate pieces together. The next person in line listens to the previous person's input whilst singing/playing their piece. I haven't listened back again but I'm pretty sure the one before Will was African beats. You're right munchkin, it was the African beat. You really should try and watch the whole sunday. I didn't think I'd enjoy it (except for Will's part :cheer: ) but I really did and the programme went by so quickly - probably because it was so interesting. I didn't know Channel 4 was 19, or do you mean T4 and Popworld?
April 24, 200817 yr I confess I only watched this for Will but ended up really enjoying the whole programme, so many interesting things to say and I've just ordered the book by Eckhart - Living in the Now, on the strength of it. I really do need to learn how to do that!! I'll definitely be setting up the recorder for the rest of the series, buying the album, I've bought the book and I guess if there is one I may buy the t-shirt as well :D

April 24, 200817 yr It got good ratings too. Posted by Bumbling on D: Quote: I am so thrilled - the time slot that WHAT ABOUT ME? was given on Ch4 usually gets viewins of 200,000 - but not our clever boys who peaked at 600,000 viewers - they must be doing something right A few screenies - thanks to Sheilab on O/S. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sheila.bull/images/Channel4/06.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sheila.bull/images/Channel4/09.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sheila.bull/images/Channel4/08.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sheila.bull/images/Channel4/07.jpg Edited April 24, 200817 yr by munchkin
