All he said was that she has the weakest voice in his opinion. And he would get rid of her if any member, not that they could cope or not. For me, HAS to be Sarah -_- she just can't sing :blink: shouts, and tries to out-do Nadine which is never gonna happen -_-
May 5, 200817 yr Author The band could'nt cope without Sarah, she may try too hard on her solo parts but when it comes down to the chorus' - she holds the harmony. The bands sound as a whole would be nothing without her, people dont seem to realise this though.

She tries to -_- sometimes shes ok, but sometimes she is utterly awful! just go look at the STD performances :mellow: Although, I do think she has improved a lot :P shes still my least favourite member.
May 5, 200817 yr Author I agree with the STD performances, but that was the technicians fault IMO. Most live tracks they do nowadays, be it on tour or tv, are carried by Sarah's harmonies - just look at the CTS and CSF performances.

I know full well this boils down to the fact none of the GA die-hards seem to accept my posts in here because of an entirely obvious factor elsehwere in my music tastes, but there's no reason to shoot my down! It's not 'silly', it's my opinion - what does she contribute that the other's don't? Nicola's voice is unique, Sarah adds serious sex value, Kimberly is seen as the girl next door and Nadine has the big vocals; what is Cheryl's speciality? I don't see one which is why I said that if anyone were to leave, it should be here. However nobody is leaving the group and there's no reason to carry on this 'silly' discussion. :heehee:
May 5, 200817 yr Just about the "sex" factor, according to FHM voters, Cheryl is the hottest singer in the whole world, and has been in the overall top10 of sexiest women of the world, for the last 5 years. So if we should fill in your categories, Cheryl would be waaay ahead of Sarah in the sexy category :P ;)

May 5, 200817 yr GA are all major UK celebs now and all add something different to the band. They are a solid unit and none can be replaced. GA could never do something like the sugababes where one leaves and gets replaced like every year. They have always said that they would never replace anyone, not at this stage anyway.

May 5, 200817 yr I'm not saying its a bad thing to replace, it depends who you are. Tired bands sometimes need a fresh face, atomic kitten to out kerry katona for example. But GA are different, well, a bit like the spice girls. It was just them 5 and each had something different. May 5, 200817 yr Sugababes were never 'tired', it's always been a matter of circumstance. They hadn't even got going when Siobhan freaked out and left and Mutya had a child to bring up, so it's kind of not associated with the music or success itself. No one is 'calling for trouble', Bertie. ;)
