Easily the best live performance she's ever done.

:huh: She can't use the glasses on every performance, especially when there are time restraints on most TV shows. She doesn't have to wear headscarves and latex all the time to be interesting either. I haven't seen any average pop stars wearing outfits remotely like hers. I'm confused too, do you think she wasn't 'in your face' before?

She is still using the glasses but for like two seconds which makes me wonder what's the point? The disco stick seems to have disappeared as well LOL

 

The headscarves/shoulderpads/latex thing was interesting and striking though. It added a sense of mystery to her and set her a part from her contemporaries. Also the image worked well with the music. She seems to have given up dancing now as well, there are bits of choreography bit it's all a bit half-arsed. She's always gone on about her theatrical philosophy to live performance so to see that disappear into the barrels of the generic is sad. I'm assuming she's just very bored of performing 'Just Dance' for the 10,000th time. Bring on the 'Poker Face' performance and some fresh ideas.

Das war fantastich! I mean, that was incredible! I think the glasses are most interesting when they're used as little video screens to be honest, they must be quite heavy to wear during a whole performance. Sadly it seems like the song has kind of flopped in Germany (peaked at 15).

She's not gonna wear the same things all the time though. I like the crystal dresses and also think they set her apart from her contemporaries.

she is definately mixing it up, recently she has been holding a mic which doesn't give her the freedom to really dance and go for it with both arms. anyway if i was to tweak it i would have her early red hood look with a fixed head mic and dark shades, with the intro music she had on Rove wearing the screen specs and include the talking she did on SYTYCD "Pop Music Will Never Be Low Brow". C4 have no clue about editing, they missed the skirt rip and T4 was a mess. there is a lot going on in her performance so you don't need fast cuts and swooping camera angles :wacko:

In midweeks, Just Dance is #1, The Fame is #3 and Poker Face is Top 25. :D

This week, Just Dance falls to #2 after 3 weeks at the top, The Fame is a non-mover at #4, Poker Face falls 2 places to #28 and Paparazzi climbs to #95.

LADY GAGA has won the race to perform with PET SHOP BOYS at Wednesday’s Brits – promising the raunchiest show ever.

 

But I hope the clothes-dodging star’s skimpy outfit includes wellies because this year’s bash has a Glastonbury theme.

 

The Just Dance chart-topper has beaten a host of sexy female stars to take to the stage with electro-pop duo NEIL TENNANT and CHRIS LOWE, who are picking up the Outstanding Contribution gong at the show.

 

Originally GIRLS ALOUD were going to sex-up the pop veterans’ medley.

 

But they have now been given their own slot so the job falls to the more-than-capable New Yorker GaGa.

 

She will sing on Nothing Has Been Proved — the 1989 hit produced by Tennant and Lowe and sung by DUSTY SPRINGFIELD.

 

The song is about 1963 political sex scandal the Profumo Affair, which blew up after minister John Profumo had a fling with showgirl CHRISTINE KEELER.

 

And a Brits insider said: “It is going to be the raunchiest show the Brits has ever seen.

 

“The organisers wanted a female singer who would really shock to sing this track about the Keeler sex scandal.

 

“GaGa is the girl. She will be perfect. Don’t expect many clothes.” Another sexy American, KATY PERRY, will be among the stars giving out awards at London’s Earls Court. But the theme for the show will be very English — based on legendary Somerset festival Glastonbury.

 

The set will have a pyramid shape — like Glasto’s iconic stage — and will be filled with farm animals and other props more likely to be seen in the countryside than at a glamorous London award show.

 

Presenters JAMES CORDEN and MATHEW HORNE — fronting the ceremony with KYLIE MINOGUE — will jump from a caravan to host the event.

 

With ESTELLE, THE TING TINGS, TAKE THAT, COLDPLAY, KINGS OF LEON and U2 also performing, it promises to be one of the best Brits yet.

 

And I reckon we’ll be talking about GaGa’s outfit until the cows come home.

They're collaborating with someone else too but they want it to be kept a secret.

I think Poker Face needs to be moved forward as I want it to go top 5, Although Number 1 would be brillant :)

The Fame is at #4 in midweeks, despite falling to #13 last week. :o

And Poker Face is top 20 :cheer:

Just Dance is at #2 and Poker Face is #16 in the Almost Saturday Chart. :)
