The idiot was driving, while intoxicated, with his 10 year old daughter in the car! According to new reports, Sambora has just plea-bargained his DUI case and plead No Contest to driving drunk. Luckily for him, the DUI charge was dismissed and prosecutors did not file child endangerment charges. Why Not?!?! Apparently, the cops and prosecutors felt that the evidence they had didn't support the child endangerment charge. Yea right. If you're driving with an alcohol level above the legal limit, you ARE endangering that child, yourself, and everyone else on the road! When Sambora was pulled over, he had a blood alcohol level of .13, way over the legal limit of .08. And his charges were dismissed? Luckily for Sambora, he had one of the most effective criminal defense lawyers with him, Blair Berk, who has represented several celebs such as Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson. And, also in his favor, the judge (who is probably related to the judge that sentenced Nicole Richie to jail for only a day) wasn't trying to get publicity or teach celebs 'a lesson', like the one who put away Paris Hilton for lesser charges. Sambora will be placed on informal probation for three years and will only be required to pay a $390 fine, plus penalties. The total will come out to be less than $2,000. April 24, 200817 yr Hopefully he learned from it, one does never forgive him/herself causing an accident whilst being drunk.
April 24, 200817 yr I wish I was a celebrity, then I could break the law and not get into trouble for it :lol: Seriously though, I hope he's learnt his lesson and if he ever got caught doing it again (which I really hope he doesnt) then the law is a lot tougher on him.
