I complained that people would lose interest if it was delayed that long! I would say this one has had the most interest for quite some time what with the hyped up battles, national finals, promotional tours etc...

So is there going to be a semi-final? It looks like there'll be more than 24 countries right?

yep, more, but i think semifinal isn't worth taking place if the number of participants is not more than 27.

I was thinking, how about if a topic called "The Green Room" (Like the green room in the actual eurovision) was made and it could be for chat about the contest and the different songs? It's just I remember Pavel was a bit worried about too many posts in the entry confirmation topic.

 

Just a idea I thought I'd put out, maybe you could even sticky it. ^_^

You should go with whoever you want to go with regardless of whether they won the contest before or not. ;)

seems quite high...I hope we get loads more countries so that we can have a semi-final! It makes the strength of the songs in the final better if the few weak ones are discarded

I know but the competition is about variety. I didn't re-call Katharine McPhee being entered before, so I thought entering her would be something different especially seeing she only released in America.

28 doesn't seem too high, given it's only about 2 more than the max they've had in the ESC (in 2003) and voting etc. isn't as long as it is in the actual thing :lol:
