Hard Candy is the album :P I heard Give It 2 Me today in HMV - much to my disgust as i'm trying to avoid all tracks until i get the album :wub: - but it sounded really good. I also heard a clip of Beat Goes On, But i went downstairs and they were playing Britney down there :lol: I'm sooooo excited. She had 2 #1's with Confessions, fingers crossed she does it again :yahoo:

I'm assuming your following the American Life schedule here (clever! :) ) But yes, Radio 1 are playing Give it 2 Me and it was confirmed as the album's 2nd single this summer. Excellent as a video has just been shot and the song itself is just the business, possibly her best ever!!!

The date can be changed so I won't take this as 100% sure.

May 1, 200817 yr No no...She should release Give it to me 2nd and Miles Away 3rd! I totally agree with you! When Ellen played GI2M on her show, I saw the audience lap it up! I think GI2M has the legs to do really well in America & Europe.
May 1, 200817 yr First of all, Give It To Me is a great choice for 2nd single and the best song on the album for a release! I like it more than 4 Minutes. I was thinking of Miles Away as the 3rd single, but it is already starting to bore me a little. Devil, Voices, or Heartbeat should be the third single.

May 1, 200817 yr For those of you who haven't contributed to my post on ideal singles choices, please do so now as it would be interesting to see what some of you think. I reckon Miles Away is a better song for 3rd single and it has gotten some good reviews. Considered one of the better tracks on Hard Candy. Plus its very radio friendly, Heartbeat's too i dunno, common sounding init?! McFess, i hope you're right, i hope Give it 2 Me does as well as 4 Minutes has in the US. After Hung Up, i really thought Sorry would make top 10 aswell but my hopes were dashed :( I love Give it 2 Me and can't wait to see the video. :)
May 1, 200817 yr .....Sorry would make top 10 as well but my hopes were dashed :( When I heard Sorry was gonna be released after HU, I knew the it wasn't gonna do well in the US. It was just way to "Gloria Gaynor Disco" & definitely didn't suit the US music scene. That song was just too gay! But that said, I don't think if she wud have released any other song, it wud have charted any different. That whole album is way too eurodance for the US radio scene imo.
