Give It 2 Me is back up to #18.

 

I think this is because of the tour plus the song appeared in Big Brother (?) or some kind of reality show.

Thank goodness, i'm glad this song has staying power! I knew it would climb after the tour! Which reality show was it played on?

'Give it 2 Me' has been played loads on BBC1 & 2 introducing TV programmes, regularly played on Radio 1's news round, Big Brother & fully played when BBC1 summorised the UK's medal achievements on the Olympics last Saturday thats just a few I can remember. The content of the song is about winning, getting what you want and not having to catch your breath whilst doing your best. A competive song.

According to Wikipedia 'Give it 2 Me' has now sold 110,000+ copies, hopefully it will make 130,000 by the end of the year.

The song has got so much exposure since its single release in July! Its amazing, i just wished it had reached higher than bloody #7 :(

That's really good, and the song is still very close to the iTunes top 20 so I don't think it will fall like a stone.

 

But it's a bit sad imo that to reach a popularity you have to play songs in reality shows, sports events etc. :(

I have to admit, the song is growing on me - it only took 5 months on the album and 2 months as a single, but it is definaltely growing! Still her worst single in years though :P

Give it to me is a great Madonna track, my fifth fav single from her since 2000

No, her worst singles ever are Fever, One More Chance Little Star and The Look of Love but GI2M is not far behind :P

 

I dunno why I hate is so :unsure: It's just so uninspired and bland. Not helped by the terrible 'get stupid' part in the middle. I can see why it's popular but it's nowhere near as good as tracks like Devil, Miles Away or Heartbeat. It's not a patch on any of her singles since Music (which apart from a couple have all been perfect choices.)

 

My favourite Madonna single of recent years is Sorry and it will take a MEGA dance tune to dethrone that. Sadly there isn't a song on HC to top that :(

 

If Miles Away is the next single, as rumoured, then all will be forgiven and I can go back to my Madonna obessive state :w00t: :D

I love One more chance, infact its in my top 20 Madonna songs and I think her version of Fever is superior to all except the original.

I actually agree a bit with Give It 2 Me.

 

And I rather would like to see The Devil Wouldn't Recognize You as the next single. that is my fave from Hard Candy :P

give it 2 me is a great song top bop about to sure madge has done some better songs but its not her worst either

People say they hate the Get Stupid part of the song but I love that bit so much! I so want her black hat
