I don't know how anyone could give We're Through a score as low as a four! Its one of their best - I love that thumping accoustic guitar intro.

And me

I also remember a single after THE BABY called Magic Woman Touch - it actually didn't chart in the UK.

Allan Clarke wasn't on either of these singles. THey were sung by Sweden's Mikael Rickfors.

Allan Clarke was devastated after the departure of Graham Nash and decided to try a solo career. It didn't work out and he rejoined the band in 1973.

The Woman I Love - can't remember how this one goes either

For me they are/were like a sort of missing link between the Beatles & Hermans Hermits. Great vocal harmonies, good hook laden tracks, but the production of the tracks lets them down a bit:

I'd highly recommend non UK hits from the 1960s Dear Eloise & Pay You Back With Interest from the 1960s; Whilst they scored a big hit in Australia & New Zealand with Too Young To Get Married, and they were the first act to champion the songs of Bruce Springsteen covering "Sandy (4th of July, Asbury Park)" which was the first Springsteen composition to chart in America & Europe.

This is definitely my favourite Hollies track & deservedly their biggest hit in the USA & an Australian #1:

Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress (1972 USA#2)

Never really got the Hollies. I have listened to some of the tracks but I prefer Manfred Mann to them.
