I can't think of anyone. maybe they'll go for a big 'name' to try and get people in.

but I suppose I could bear Darius having a break then reprising the role..I just hate the thought that after all these problems and hard work Darius has put in once the show gets up and going on word of mouth, a newcomer could be held up as the star..and keep imagining headlines saying how good the show is now Rhett is played by SO and SO!!! I dont want him brushed under the proverbial carpet again - on the other hand if he left GWTW to go into another good role - well I wouldnt mind waiting for the album a little longer

We have at least until September 27th to enjoy. Every time I think of not going, I just end up thinking about how lond it may be before we see him doing anything else. that, and the fact that I do love the show, keeps making me go back.

The documentary is good but it gives little hint of just how mesmerising Darius is on stage as Rhett.

 

Even if he doesn't extend, many many more people in the UK will have discovered for themselves what we always knew............. Darius is a great all round talent.

The show is so much better than the rehearsal peices. the cast is now used to their roles and have developed them.

There's so much to look forward to. The next time I go, there will surely be a new edition of the programme, maybe the souvenir brochure and later, the cast recording CD, the ultimate souvenir bar a DVD.

I doubt they'll do a dvd - except of the film but, wouldn't that be lovely?

I keep thinking back to that Oklahoma with Maureen Lipman. How come it was filmed for televiision and kept being shown? I can't think of any other musical which has been.

I never saw it.

It's funny reading all those comments about how he could be a life coach, isn't it? He makes people feel so comfortable and they come away from an encounter with him feeling better.
