May 2, 200817 yr I'd love to know how they came up with this tracklisting - Teenage Life and Flying The Flag on there but no mention of Modlitba (last year's winner) or Nel Blu Dipinto Nel Blu (second in that 50th anniversary thing in 2005)? Thank God I've either downloaded them (1956-2000) or bought the CD (2001 onwards) - I can make my own one then.
May 8, 200817 yr How ridiculously Western Europe-centric  Still, it looks like they're aiming at the sort of person that follows Eurovision mildly closely and dismisses most things from the East...
May 9, 200817 yr I think it balances it out pretty well... if you took every single ESC song and made a percentage of western/eastern songs, I bet it'd be pretty relative to that compilation.
May 10, 200817 yr If only because of the fact the east didn't start entering generally until the 90s David :P
May 11, 200817 yr If only because of the fact the east didn't start entering generally until the 90s David :P They did - Yugoslavia entered regularly between 1961 and 1992.
May 11, 200817 yr They did - Yugoslavia entered regularly between 1961 and 1992. I did say generally :P I was aware that Yugoslavia were the exception there :heehee:
May 13, 200817 yr Author bought this yesterday...c**p version of Love Shine A Light on here, I think its the 'unplugged' version from the CD single, not live as such but stripped of everything that makes it great apart from that its a good album, though it should have almost been called 'Ultimate UK entries Eurovision Party'
May 13, 200817 yr Author I wasn't entirely happy with the tracklisting to this so I've come up with this compilation for my iPod :heehee:: http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u11/gooddelta/myeurovisionparty.jpg 1. Charmed - My Heart Goes Boom 2. Evelin Samuel & Camille - Diamond Of Night 3. Lou - Let's Get Happy 4. Precious - Say It Again 5. Lynn - To Dream Again 6. Selma - All Out Of Luck 7. Birgitta - Open Your Heart 8. Julie & Ludwig - On Again...Off Again 9. Dimitry Koldun - Work Your Magic 10. Vanilla Ninja - Cool Vibes 11. Sahlene - Runaway 12. Rollo & King - Never Let You Go 13. May 13, 200817 yr Author also, those who were wondering why songs from Olsen Brothers/Helena Paparizou/Marija Serifovic were omitted from the proper album, I've just realised that they have only put on it, the tracks that charted in the UK top 75, as Charlotte Nilsson, Ruslana, Verka and Sertab all did :D
