Wow, great news. That means the 8.9 million people out of the 9 million listeners that havent heard the track will finally hear it!

Got to go top 10 now. All over Galaxy, all over Smash Hits and now guarenteed to be played on the nations biggest radio station.

Not for a debut single i dont think. If this goes top 10 they'll be happy and then expecting that the second 'secret' single will go top 5 i reckon.

They will obviously be top10, probably the ultra repetitive advert on GA tour will secure loads of text sales. I'm not a fan of this song, but after listening to it about 30 times before the GA concert, it nearly made me send a text

Anyway, if they can't get top10 with this, I don't think the label will bother promoting anything else.

... its only c listed though.... :)

Only C-Listed, but most tracks start off on the C-List and move their way up the playlist.

Anyway, Radio 1 playlisting a new pure-pop girlband is a very rare feat, I think top 10 is pretty much guaranteed now.

There needs a new girlband and here they are, people need to give them a chance. They were amazing live on the GA tour and their songs are fantastic.

I barely ever get aroused by new pop music these days, my king of pop days are fading, judging by a slight shift in my CD buying at Christmas :kink:

But The Saturdays certainly have got my pop excitement back :cheer: After seeing them live twice, being brainwashed by the ads on the GA tour, I preordered the download :kink:

I agree with Mushy, if these are the next big thing my name is Alfred Hitchcock. 'If This Is Love' is OK (and I will probably grow to love it because it's poppy) but I honestly cannot see them having a second hit, if the first one even becomes a hit. I obviously want Frankie and Rochelle to do well though.

If "If This Is Love" goes top 10, I'm almost certain they'll be big.

When I went to see Girls Aloud and heard them perform their 4 songs, I thought "ITIL" was the weakest of the four.

"Up" has top 5 potential and I can see "Keep Her" and "Issues" at #1.

If they catch on, they'll be massive.

the operative word being 'IF' .

they are ok, but im not so sure that they are good enough. many acts have failed, many acts as good if not better,... bellfire for eg.

we will see!

I hope you're all correct and they do go top 10 - they certainly deserved it.

WHY are you ALWAYS so negative? ffs. Be optimistic about them! 'Only C-listed' that's what happens! songs aren't usually just a-listed in the first week! and definetly not for a new girlband!

Radio 1 only started playlisting Girls Aloud with their last few singles, and they've been around 5 years. So for The Saturdays to even get onto the C-list is quite an achievement ^_^

Just be a bit more optimistic -_- and if you say everyones entitled to their opinions :drama: Yes, they are! and you've stated yours -_- and saying it repeatedly isn't getting it across more! so if you have nothing positive to say then shhh!

^ I'm glad someone else has picked up on it.

It's not just one post that's negative, it's every single post and it repeats the same thing.

They've playlisted all of GA singles. However, its true that Something Kinda Ooh was their first A-list and not Sound Of The Underground like many people think so. Support for them seems to have picked up with their last few singles.

They haven't playlisted all of their singles

Yes they have. I've got a R1 playlist archive.

And every single song has been playlisted? I know they've only been a-listed recently  but didn't know all the singles has been c-listed at least.
