Posted May 8, 200817 yr :yahoo: Ok guys I went to see Kylie last nite and it was great. It's not as smooth as it should be yet but that will change when the routine kicks in. There were some silences in between songs that took too long so u were in the dark waiting for the next one to begin. It started 1 hr late unfortunately. 2 blocks on both sides were almost empty by the time she was supposed to start (8.30pm) By the time everyone was there it was 9.30 pm. Amazing opening with that "lightning wall" coming forward wearing a fab purple dress, great opener with Speakerphone. The first section up to the break was really great. The Cant get u out of my head remix was wicked. Ruffle my feathers was just great. Like a drug was brilliant. That huge skull was just crazy :w00t: The One was skipped this evening unfortunately :( The black and white session was great. With Love at first sight as my personal favourite ;) The come into my world remix was brilliant. Loved it :wub: Nu-di-ty was incredible. One of her strongest acts in the show An aboslute highlight was the ballad session, she really had the chance to show off her vocals. She did a fab job. She stood there in a spotlight and did the 3 songs wearing a beautiful green dress. The part I least liked was the Love boat , Copacabana bit. That was just awful. I am so over those 2 songs. It didnt fit the rest of the setlist IMO. The crowd didnt really respond to great to it. With all the other bits people were cheering and clapping afterwards but with this bit it wasnt like that at all. A bit of a downer. The break was supposed to be 15 minutes but was 30 minutes in the end. I didnt like the break tbh. It completely faded the atmosphere away, lights went on etc. But she picked it up beautifully afterwards though. Due to the delay of the show she didnt do No more rain and All I see. It was already 00.20 am by then and had to leave right after Spinning Around. That completely sucked :( All in all a great show. Needs to get the routine going and then it will be great. The stage was quite small with not too many distractions. A huge screen with the most amazing projections :wub: I was a bit worried about the stage being so small but it was great I have to say. It gave a very intimate touch to the show. The floor was amazing also, changing color, and the smoke/mist they blew over the stage fell off on the front of the stage so it looked like it was liquid or something. Hard to explain really. And being up front I was quite close to the stage so every time she came to our side I could look her in the eyes :wub: I got eyeballed a few times ;) Kylie was in a really good mood, vocals were great, she seemed really happy and had a few giggles and knew how to capture the crowd who embrased her like a lost daughter :lol: She got a great respons from the crowd and she enjoyed every minute of it. It was a mixed crowed. Young, old, gay, straight, families with kids, older couples even and they were all standing on their feet to dance with Kylie. Great backing vocals btw !! Maybe when she gets here will have a slightly different setlist. Sorry, but the front of that tour book looks ugly :o what the hell is it. The pictures inside look great though.
May 9, 200817 yr Author i dont think she will change setlists during this tour. in our case they ran out of time or it was due to technical problems that the 3 songs were skipped. before she left she did say: i hope to see you all very very soon, so maybe antwerp will get another date to make up for the problems. appearantly the stage arrived 2 hrs late from Paris and thats why we had to wait for an extra hr. all the other glitches were due to technical problems and lack of routine. things will get better when the tour goes along. Ruffle my feathers was just ...... ummmmmmm. Gosh dunno how to explain it really. :lol:
