May 11, 200817 yr ahhhh..... now i get it! i replied to vol2 before viewing this one... now thats much better, some corking tracks there. i deffo have the brilliant 'mr bloe', mason williams and booker t in my selection, with the shadows but a different track.
May 11, 200817 yr Rasputin by Boney M makes a sneaky use of the same drumming as featured on Dance With The Devil by Cozy Powell, presumably a studio musician did the drumming on the Boney M track as I can't imagine Cozy worked with Boney M! Here's the original Cozy version (not a clip of Cozy but rather his single on a record player!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhR5EDH-rMo and here's Rasputin... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKSK0bz9anM it's even more evident on the 12" version which has an extended intro based around the drumming...
