This does all of course depend on how high it charts and how much response it gets on BJ...I may well be forced to send Rosanna if it does well! :lol:

well it's top 30 in the mids and is doing nothing on downloads whatsoever so is almost certain to drop out of the top 40...I doubt the average BJ member will care for such an unfashionable band, still - this didn't stop Cyndi Lauper so you never know!

We would of course like to confirm that Saint Etienne, La Roux and Rosanna are still in contention, along with Electric Valentine :P

I have both of those Electric Valentine songs on my iPod already, I'm not over enthused about them, 2 Of Hearts is a bit weak, Annie's cover version was just as poor...A Night With You is a bit better but Saint Etienne, La Roux and Rosanna seem like safer bets (assuming you will be pulling out all of the stops to avoid missing the top ten again seeing as you have already used up your 2 flops every 10 contests in the last 3 :heehee:)

Saint Etienne currently seems to be the best option (in terms of widespread appeal), with La Roux and Rosanna just behind. The only problem is that the only way for La Roux is down (and IMO In For The Kill is nowhere near as good as Quicksand :(); Rosanna is possibly too old and risks alienating the indie crowd (but then again, look what just won! :lol:) and Saint Etienne runs the risk of being old...

I think La Roux would do best (mid top ten maybe?) although I agree that In For The Kill isn't quite up to the standard of Quicksand, so might seem like a bit of a weak entry...I still don't care much for Rosanna but other people seemed to like it last month at least, although they may be bored of it by now...Saint Etienne would surely go top ten on account of it being fantastic, if the contest were right now it would get 8-12 points from me but I don't know that I'll still be so into the song a month from now :thinking: don't worry about alienating the indie crowd, I don't think you can ever have a song that would appeal to both types of voters, although I was surprised at the widespread appeal of M.A.G.I.C. last month!
