Posted May 12, 200817 yr The special edition version of 'Hard Candy' was meant to be released in the UK today, but it has been taken off many shopping websites. Has the release been cancelled?
May 12, 200817 yr i don't know whats happening. They keep changing the release dates of the special edition and the 4 Minutes vinyl :(

I'll have to get it from ebay. :( The vinyls haven't been released yet. Last i heard they were due in June :( I think the Special Edition has been put back because they were due to be imported from America and they ran out of stock so are having to produce some more for the UK.

May 12, 200817 yr The UK 12" picture disc and special double 12" vinyl for '4 Minutes' was out today according to HMV.com I'll be popping out into town 2moro after uni to buy them, if they're out as HMV say! I'm not sure whats happening with the special edition for the album. But its really annoying cos' i really want it! I asked the girl in HMV last week and she said it was due in the UK on May 19th (next Monday) along with the double vinyl release for the album. Lets see if they're accurate this time!! Warners always screw it up for Madonna in the UK.
May 12, 200817 yr Eil has the 4 Minutes vinyls release date set as June 2nd Here Posters on the Madonna Tribe forum say the pre-orders on HMV haven't yet been dispatched so it doesn't look like they have been released this week. It's annoying me - i want everything now!!! :D I can't wait for the triple vinyl though. It better be worth the wait (unlike the crappy edition they called 'special')

May 13, 200817 yr Right, good news and bad!!! I went into HMV and Zavvi this afternoon and there were tons of Hard Candy Special Editions!! Priced at £19.99 at HMV and £25 at Zavvi! Mmm! I was so excited that i bought two! :o :lol: So finally, we have the special editions out in the UK. Now, bad news! The chick at HMV said that they've ordered tons of copies of the 12" singles of 4 Minutes but they've still yet to arrive! :( They were supposed to have been released yesterday but failed to show up. The assistant took my number and told me she'd keep me updated. She added that the vinyles could arrive Thursday. Interesting!
May 13, 200817 yr The Special Edition is in a Candy Box with 2 bonus tracks. It was meant to be released on the 28th of April. then the 5th of May, then the 12th of May. Its not due next Monday. We'll see ;) - It's absoutely c**p this edition. How they have the nerve to call it 'Special' is beyond me. I'm not even sure i'll even get it. So dissapointing. But.... The Deluxe Edition is 3 x Vinyls. 2 are candy swirled picture discs containing the album, and one is a plain 12" containing a couple of 4 Minutes remixes. Plus a bonus CD of the album (not sure why you'd want a CD of the album though :unsure: ) This is due to be released on next Monday too. It better be, i'm looking forward to this the most :w00t: Then there is the deluxe digital version which HardCandy just posted about. Hope that helps :)

I wasn't very impressed by the special editon :( but if i don't get it it will ruin the little collection i've got going. When i see it in person i might change my mind :P I really hope the 4 Minutes comes out soon.
