Posted May 17, 200817 yr Portsmouth v Cardiff FA CUP FINAL Venue: Wembley Stadium Date: Saturday, 17 May Kick-off: 1500 BST Who are you backing? :w00t:
May 17, 200817 yr Enckleman has been dire :meh: but I'm still hoping Cardiff can get back in it :cheer: Loovens was unlucky right on half time, if only he had chopped his arm off :(
May 17, 200817 yr Portsmouth win it then... I thougth Cardiff were a little bit unlucky to be frank. But I thought over the majority of the play Pompey deserved to win it.
May 18, 200817 yr Shockingly bad game I know having non Big 4 in the final has novelty value but I would rather have Big 4 teams in the final if yesterday is the sort of game it produces 1st half was ok-ish but the 2nd half was one of the worst have seen all season

This seemed like Spurs 6 Reading 4 in comparison! It wasn't the greatest of games of football, but it was still a good game to watch. Both teams played pretty well and it was a good, clean, well reffereed game. There was very little gamesmanship, both teams were clean, the managers didn't moan, the players who went down shockingly got back up again! Both teams were a credit to football yesterday, something I doubt I'll be able to say having watched the overpaid Primadonna's strut their stuff in Moscow on Wednesday!

It was never going to be the world's best game, but how often do you see a team from the 2nd tier of any country reach a cup final ^_^. I can almost guarantee that the FA Cup Final 2008 will be far greater than what's to come on Wednesday. And why exactly were tickets harder to get for Cardiff-Pompey than they were for last year? Because the fans didn't take the final for granted, and they created a marvellous atmosphere.
May 18, 200817 yr I thought it was a really good absorbing game, with a great atmosphere thanks to two fantastic sets of supporters. It was certainly, far far better than last year's horrendous final. Plus it was great to see two of the good guys as managers in the Final. I wonder whether the late Pat Lampard's son on Wednesday evening in Moscow can emulate what his Father-in-Law achieved yesterday....
May 18, 200817 yr I enjoyed it. Not the greatest game, but better than last year's final with plenty of chances for both teams. I was supporting Cardiff but I wasn't too disappointed when Pompey won.
May 20, 200817 yr wasn't this the last BBC one? the joys of having adverts shoved in at every opportunity is coming next season (ITV/Setanta) :( Think I might go to BBC Radio next season
