May 18, 200817 yr yeah twinkle.... just one in a line of 'death pop' records. it was quite anthemic as in 64 'mods n rockers' were often involved in fatal crashes on their motorbikes or scooters! (we couldnt afford cars in them days)
May 18, 200817 yr Her real name was Lynn Ripley. She only had one other hit - Golden Lights which peaked at #21 in 1965. However she recorded 3 other singles apart from Terry that had boys names but were all flops. The followup to Golden Lights was Tommy, this was followed by Poor Old Johnny - both these were from 1965. In 1969 she came up with Micky. Just how many guys did this girl have :lol:
