yeah twinkle.... just one in a line of 'death pop' records. it was quite anthemic as in 64 'mods n rockers' were often involved in fatal crashes on their motorbikes or scooters! (we couldnt afford cars in them days)

 

 

Her real name was Lynn Ripley.

She only had one other hit - Golden Lights which peaked at #21 in 1965.

However she recorded 3 other singles apart from Terry that had boys names but were all flops.

 

The followup to Golden Lights was Tommy, this was followed by Poor Old Johnny - both these were from 1965.

In 1969 she came up with Micky.

 

Just how many guys did this girl have :lol:
