Hhm I dont know, its great that she's got all these good writers but whether she gets herself back out there and promotes the album is another thing.

A reliable source informed me that the tentative release date is December 9, 2008 with the first single scheduled to impact radio in early October. He also informed me that Jive wants to release two singles before the new album.

I have a contact who works at Sony/BMG Canada in their headquarters in Toronto.

 

He gave me the same information and a little extra information. He is the Events/Promotions Manager. He got this information in an email sent from Sony/BMG headquarters.

 

December 9th, 2008 is the tentative release date on Sony/BMG's release schedule for the 4th quarter.

I'm confused about how Jive would want to release two singles before the album is released if the first single is being released in October. Unless... it's supposed to mean something like there's an American single and an International single. That'd be pretty cool and it'd be interesting to see how well it works for Britney.

I think they mean maybe just to have the second single already out on video and on radioplay by the time the album is released...

Oh, ok. I was wondering about that a bit too. That would still seem really rushed to me though... releasing a 2nd single before early December when the first single would impact radio around early October? I know it's not worth getting worked up over anyways since nothing is confirmed at all. :lol:

Radar could still happen. Carrie Underwood still had 2 singles from Some Hearts (i think... i know she had at least one...) on the Billboard Hot 100 when the Carnival Ride era started

Maybe, if there is another single from 'Blackout', that could be released July/August, and then during that time, the album is being recorded.

Yeah, I've been wondering about the 2 singles thing too. It's probably not even official. :unsure:

I don't care anymore, we always try to guess release dates for her material...and 80% of the time we are wrong. :lol:

She won't release it in December..it's far too soon.

I really hope she does but I can't see it happening!
