yay #3 for uk and sales could go 70k-75k...i even can reach 80k...which is impressive if u ask me...I expected and wanted to do 50k+, but shes doing better then I thought *jumps and hits the wall*
It might be able to edge out The Killers, but it will be close.

i remember her GH opened with 26k and ended up with 117k...probably thats gonna happen but still I hope she will do 80k. :)

and Tyler u have any idea about US...how shes doin

We won't find out how the album is doing until tomorrow. Today was the first day the album was available in the U.S. ;) Hits Daily Double will have a good prediction of what the album will sell in the U.S. tomorrow!

US iTunes update!

DELUXE VERSION - #1

STANDARD VERSION - #7

I think that it will quite easily sell more then 300k...possibly more then 400k.
Akon will not sell more then 300k. I think Britney will be in the bracket of 350k-450k
Akon will definitely not outsell her this week! I think Britney should have a good clinch on the #1 album this week. At least I hope so!

SPEARS SOARING: Based on one-day sales reports, though it’s still early, Britney Spears’ Jive/ZLG album Circus, which hit the streets today, is on track to exceed expectations. Originally, pundits had it pegged at around 300k, but initial retailer feedback indicates it could go much higher. Give credit to radio airplay, stellar reviews, the MTV documentary and a widely seen performance on ABC’s Good Morning America, where she announced her upcoming tour, for the positive results. (HDD)
Next week’s chart is all about Jive/ZLG’s Britney Spears, whose new Circus album hit the streets on Tuesday and, from preliminary reports, is exceeding all expectations, with a flurry of positive press, an MTV documentary, an announced tour and a performance on Good Morning America that wowed Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Also on tap, the new album from SRC/Universal Motown’s Akon, Freedom. (Hits)
I think now that sales will be 500+, Blackout was have 287 (i think) Circus will be more higher, with all promotion.
blackout was 292k i think...anyway anything 400k will be ok for me...and that "much higher" I hope that isnt only for a 30k-50k

Blackout sold 289k it's first week!

So happy to hear it's expected to sell bucketloads!
