'Like A Drug' is great and a single-worthy track, but I think they should go with 'The One' as it would have more general appeal, is (IMO) a stronger track, and would be more likely to keep her top 10 run intact out of what they have.

I've heard rumours of 'Speakerphone' also being in the running, but this is quite unfounded.

If the several insiders who are spreading what they know are to be relied on, Speakerphone is 100% definitely NOT going to be a single.

 

I don't think 'The One' is a guaranteed hit at all; in fact I think the repetition of the 'love me love me' bit in particular might bore some. We'll see...

 

And they're going for a July release because IMA hasn't made that huge an impact and that co-incides with Kylie's tour coming to the UK, so she can promote.

I think the opposite, 'The One' seems like a real favourite on the album for a lot of people, it's anthemic and classic sounding.

I love The One, and its been mine and my friends favs since the start, but we have all said that its not aged that well compared to othera and Like a drug is now becoming one of our favs over The One

See for me, whilst 'Like A Drug' was one of the initial standouts for me, the magic and novelty of it wore off very quickly and it hasn't stood the test of time very well to me. Whereas 'The One' took time to grow on me and has lasted the distance.

Definitely one of the best songs on the album. Even though I love 2 hearts, to me the singles should have been in any order In my arms, Wow, The One, Like a drug.
