May 19, 200817 yr i loved the one from the start and i still love it, for me it hanst lost its appeal at all like a drug i thought was ok at the start but i love it now, i love like a drug and the one in different ways if that makes sense but i feel the one stands a better chance as a single.. i think nearly all the fans agree that the 4 singles off x should have been wow, in my arms, like a drug and the one, sadly either like a drug or the one wont make it as i would be shocked if the next single isnt one or the other

May 19, 200817 yr i think 'the one' has greater exposure as we've all heard/seen the remix on youtube hence if this was sent to clubs it'll get massive exposure! it could have an audience of fans + general pop listeners + dance listeners = hit????? like a drug is a great song and its one of my top 1s from hearing it b4 the album came out! but the one pips it to the post for me

If we get 'The One' then I hope the b-side is a song we've not yet heard from the X sessions, such as Ruffle My Feathers, White Diamond (uptempo), Right Here Right Now, Lose Control or similar... If we get 'Like A Drug' then I hope the Freemasons remix of 'The One' is a b-side. ^_^

May 19, 200817 yr 'Like a drug' is the standout track and should be the 4th single !!!!! it should've been the 1st but she decided to release the lame '2 hearts'
May 19, 200817 yr I'd go with "The One" still as the Freemasons mix will be big in the clubs and I think a better video could be made for it than for "Like A Drug" Hope she doesn't go for a live video as they always seem a little amateurish in my opinion.
May 20, 200817 yr I love The One, and its been mine and my friends favs since the start, but we have all said that its not aged that well compared to othera and Like a drug is now becoming one of our favs over The One See for me, whilst 'Like A Drug' was one of the initial standouts for me, the magic and novelty of it wore off very quickly and it hasn't stood the test of time very well to me. Whereas 'The One' took time to grow on me and has lasted the distance. We can both agree on 'In My Arms' though? :D Definitely one of the best songs on the album. Even though I love 2 hearts, to me the singles should have been in any order In my arms, Wow, The One, Like a drug. I think (like everyone else in the world it seems) that these two are the only 2 songs left on X that could do well as singles. Agree with you silver, like a drug seemed one of the more standout tracks at 1st listen, and though i don't feel the magic has worn off the one has definitely grown on me. I think the more ballady feel of the one would be a nice change from the more poppy songs so far, without losing that uptempo feel (though which songs on X aren't?!) which may make it the best choice I would love them to be a double A side! As i would like to see both released, but i know 5 singles from one album is becoming quite unusual. Totally agree IMA is amazing also, and IMHO should have been the 1st single, it would've been no1 (or so close). Disappointed it only made no10 but at least it maintains her top10 run, and it did get 0 promotion so its still pretty respectable (especially as you can buy X for £4 in Tesco, and £6 or less everywhere else)

May 20, 200817 yr The double a-side won't work as both will chart seperately and whichever is the b-side will chart lower and break her run of top 10 hits.

I'm hoping for some b-sides this time though :P i'm patiently waiting for Lose Control or Fall For You. I'm hoping that if/when :P she releases the tour edition of X it will contain some studio versions of the unreleased songs she's singing live. :w00t: i would buy loads of copies :D less then 2 months until i see her in manchester :o :cheer:
May 20, 200817 yr well i have said this many times before either sog would make a fab last single from x but the one would be a better song as i can see better remixes and bettre livev versions i wouild like some b-sides for tis single ruffle my feathers studio version white diamond studio version or fall for you

May 20, 200817 yr good point, maybe some left over songs would be used and you are right it wud be a waste not to use them, i never understand why artists in general done make more use of left over songs that dont make albums, for me i would have them any day over remixes, although live songs im a huge fan of seeing them as b sides also
