June 16, 200817 yr It is a good movie but I really am not eager to see it...the same kind of story all over again. That's mostly because of my personality. I just don't like repeating things. I like making changes all the time. I can say the same thing for Harry Potter movies as well. After the first four, I m not eager to watch the rest.
June 16, 200817 yr Cinemas are incredibly expensive these days haha Not if you get one of these Cineworld "Unlimited Cinema" cards for £15 quid a month.... ;)
June 18, 200817 yr Not if you get one of these Cineworld "Unlimited Cinema" cards for £15 quid a month.... ;) or £11.99 outside London... I think I'll wait until It comes out on Dvd before I bother watching It, Cinemas are incredibly expensive these days haha well i saw it was 241 day - which meant me dad could go for free - though it wasnt a good idea sitting next to me dad as he's a like a continuity obsessive and was like just picking at all the mistakes in the film he spotted - i thought it was alright tho i'm not familure with the other films or television shows that are in the franchize/not that intersted and the Crystal Skull looked like some cheapo plastic Aliens merch that might be flogged for £3.49 at 2.13am on bid.tv http://www.comicbookgirl.com/posts/alienjapandvd.jpg and tbh think i prefered National Treasure....(with Nic Cage ffs!!!) tho my 6 year old nephew saw it as well that day with us and he enjoyed it so much and ended up buying loads of Indiana Jones lego to play with!!! Indiana Jones was conceived as being a celebration of all these 40s and 50s "Cliffhanger" movie serials... if its supposed to be in like a real time frame (with Jones ages in real time but 50 years ago) - and like how the old ones are suppose to be similar of the movies of that period and the new one more like the SF films of the late 50s - then i think there should be another Indiana Jones film in 4 years time - as then it will be like 1962 in Jones time and that mean you could do a Dr. No.... as you enter that period (& obv Olga Kurylenko would have been better than Cate Blanchett playing the Soviet agent Irina Spalko but i guess Blanchett had to do like an Allo Allo characture not to upset the Russians any further  ).
June 21, 200817 yr Oh come on Ty, I dont really see how this can be anyone's favourite film of the year... Well, unless it's about the only film they go to the cinema to see in 2008.... Frankly, I thought it was nowhere near as good as "Iron Man", and only slightly better than "National Treasure 2", and it certainly does't hold a candle to "Raiders of the Lost Ark" or "Last Crusade"... I reckon you'll change your mind once you see "The Dark Knight" or the New "X-Files" film, both of which will blow everything out of the water this Summer..... I think people are judging it to harshly, the ending really wasn't that bad, and not nearly bad enough to ruin the entire movie. The action scenes were the best I have seen in a good while, and I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire time. BUT now that I think about it I would say Iron Man edges out to be better, but I thought it was a great movie. Not to mention the acting was phenomenal IMO (Shia Lebeauf, Harrison Ford, and the Russian woman). I do agree that I will be first in line for "The Dark Knight" and "X Files" though. Something is telling me "X Files" will somehow dissapoint me no matter how good the film is. :(
June 22, 200817 yr I think people are judging it to harshly, the ending really wasn't that bad, and not nearly bad enough to ruin the entire movie. Oh, it was mate.... It was absolute c**p, totally unworthy of Spielberg's talent, okay, not as bad or as mind-numbingly dull as "AI", but still, not great..... In fact most of the second hour is pretty ropey.... I put a lot of it down to bad writing to be honest..... And, well, that's down to Lucas, who can't write a decent screenplay for sh!t......
June 30, 200817 yr I think Shia was actually okay in the movie...much better than Harrison Ford, in my opinion. Do you think this is the last Indiana Jones ever?
July 1, 200817 yr I think Shia was actually okay in the movie...much better than Harrison Ford, in my opinion. Do you think this is the last Indiana Jones ever? He was okay to be honest... He certainly kept my interest more than Ford's rather wooden acting (has Harrison Ford just forgotten how to act these days....?). It wont be the last Indy film ever, I think Shia is taking up the role as a replacement for Ford.... But with George Lucas writing scripts......
July 8, 200817 yr i thought this version was c**p. They turnd Indiana into a really bad version of a c**p comedian. not good
July 9, 200817 yr i thought this version was c**p. They turnd Indiana into a really bad version of a c**p comedian. not good Oh, there was always humour in the Indiana Jones films though... But never was it so forced, predictable and strained as in this film....
October 27, 200816 yr I think it is different than the originals but it is still cool. What do you think of it
