August 7, 200816 yr Chelsea have just bid for Robinho: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/7516932.stm
August 7, 200816 yr I don't think he's the right sort of player for the Premier League to be honest, but we shall see I guess. I get the impression from Kenyon's quotes that they're after Diego too.
August 27, 200816 yr Some deals that look like they could be going through soon, Robinho to Chelsea Riera to Liverpool Pavlechenko to Spurs SWP to somewhere Milner to Villa (or maybe Liverpool) Gotta say when I got back the other day and heard that Man City had signed Kompany I was gobsmacked... such a great signing. He'll improve their defence so much.
August 27, 200816 yr Kompany's not that good, to be fair, if anything he's overrated I think he's ace. Everytime i've seen him play he's been a commanding centre back and rarely takes any chances. Best part is too, he's still relatively young.
August 27, 200816 yr I know he's good on Football Manager  Might take him a while to get used to the PL though. But I mean why splash millions on a centre back like Kompany then play him in midfield like at the weekend
August 27, 200816 yr lol @ robbie keane, aswell if he's worth 20m then Berbatov's worth 200m Yeah Keane's been poor of late, but so have the whole Liverpool team. Once Mascherano is back, the team will flow again, i'm very sure of that. Is evidently clear how much Liverpool miss him. I still think Keane was a great signing, I just wanna see him playing on the roght of the front 4, rather than the middle where Gerrard played last season... don't see why there was any need to change that.
August 28, 200816 yr City have resigned Shaun Wright-Phillips on a 4 year deal  http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7584964.stm
August 28, 200816 yr He was always wasted an Chelsea. I was shocked when i'd heard he'd moved there in the first place. But if he wants to get back in the England squad, then a move to Man City is the right move for him at present.
August 28, 200816 yr Where have City got all this money from all of a sudden ? :o last I heard they were skint, they are even after the gap toothed Brazilian pie eater too now after getting Kompany and SWP Kompany is a class player but is rarely fit
September 1, 200816 yr If City do go ahead and buy Berbs I think I MAY JUST CRY. They've apaz just put a £30m bid in for him..
September 1, 200816 yr Are you f***ing kidding me? Anyway, City have sold up to an Arabic company now  Edited September 1, 200816 yr by James.
September 1, 200816 yr Tottenham accept a bid of more than £30m from Man City for Dimitar Berbatov as transfer deadline day bursts into life. ABSOLUTE WANKERS I suppose it's a great twist for the neutral but from a Manchester United fans point of view there actually are no words. City of all people aswell :manson:
September 1, 200816 yr f***ING SERIOUSLY? Source please? THats f***ing RIDICULOUS It's all over BBC Sport. Gotta say I never saw this one coming. Just goes to show how long running sagas normally have a twist to them at the end. If I was a Man Utd fan i'd be unbelieveably pissed off, as 1. he's gonna be going to your rivals and 2. you need another striker asap
