May 26, 200817 yr A flop is determined by something that performs or sells below par to what is expected of it, end of. I suppose a flop single can be excused if it's like the 4th single from a major selling album or something.
May 27, 200817 yr Author A flop is determined by something that performs or sells below par to what is expected of it, end of. and what about records that dont do much sales but are big on the radio...for example Freewheel by Duke Special which didnt do much in the chart, didnt power the album into the top 20 but was getting airplay even this morning!! is that a hit, miss or maybe??
