May 28, 200817 yr Please, anyone who hasn't bought "Hard Candy", yet just go out right now and buy it!! I'm a big Madonna fan but I wont be buying it along with a fair number of others I suspect. I just dont like her new urban sound. It doesnt suit her voice and I feel she is jumping on the band wagon by working with timbaland rather than doing something more creative. I hate all the urban sounding stuff around and 4 minutes just sounds like any other timbaland produced hit. I hope her album doesnt do very well and Madonna reinvents herself next time.
May 28, 200817 yr Nope, falls another couple and is now unlucky for some :) What a shame - a great album is going to be wasted because of no promotion. :( I don't actually agree with the urban sound because 4 minutes does not represent the whole album. Most tracks are quite early Madonna-ish and they sound fab. :heart: Hopefully the second single will change the urban image of the album which isn't. :unsure:

I think they'll end up 21 or 22. :)

The download is 39, in HMV Downloads, 27 in Tesco, 19 on MSN, and 26 on iTunes.
May 28, 200817 yr Oh I didn't realise that was just from HMV's physical sales :banghead: I hope they don't fall out of the top 20, but it looks like they might do with the likes of Alphabeat (shudders) overtaking them, as they have today :(

Even worse on a combined Artist/Compilation chart where it would be 17! :o Just thinking of Ben`s top 10 prediction game....Who will be higher in the album chart? Madonna, or Pendulum?
