Catherine Tate finished last week I think  At least I hope it did, or I just wasted an hour in the bath when I could've been watching it :arrr:

Well there's no new posts in the Catherine Tate topic in the TV forum, so yeh, I'm assuming there wasn't one...

Yeah, usually there's a page and a half of new posts consisting of "Not funny. She's not as good as she used to be"

But to be fair, they have a point. I was watching re-runs on Saturday night. Makes me wonder why she left out quality characters like the screamy woman and the info desk lady

Woman: I've lost my mother

Info Desk Lady: oh dear, im terribly sorry

Woman: No, she isn't dead! I mean I can't find her! She's gonna be 84 next weekend, and I don't know what to do...

Info Desk Lady: Well, I wouldn't recommend throwing any surprise parties

You can usually catch the re-runs of it on weekend nights on UKG2... they're well worth checking out! Arguably some of her best stuff

I was gonna ask for the DVDs this christmas, but i'm not sure

Might ask for them just to make up the numbers, since as I only have about 2 things I want

Ooh I wish I had UK Gold and all the spin-offs :( That's the only reason I wanted Freeview, and we don't have it! :(

Ah :(

We have NTL, but it's a bit tempermental. It frequently freezes/crashes and during summer it went through a really bad period of randomly stopping the internet working

I was offline for nigh-on 5 weeks at one stage because of it... and the helpline people weren't any help <_<

 very true

I wish more companies would have british people on helplines. I'm not being racist, but you usually can't even understand the indians when they're trying to help you.. it's frustrating :(

No, I'm not being racist either, but surely employing people in the same country is better all round?

It may be cheaper to locate over there, but once you've taught hundreds of Indians to use c**p British accents, is it really worth it?

"hello sur.. I am calling from tele-fon company and would like to know if you interested in purchasing a fon?"

"no"

"you get free weekend call and text for first five weeks of contract"

"no"

"and we even give you free headset when you purchase fon"

"no"

Jesus, they just don't give, do they?! <_<

Lord, i hate stuck up people that go on about Indian people, and how they speak.

Its hard for them thats all, when we speak, i bet they dont understand us very clearly

Yeah, actually, thats a good point.. I guess i'd never thought of it from their point of view

Must be quite difficult having only just grasped the concept of the english language hearing someone like me speaking in my dirty, common accent

People in the north east are notorious for speaking really quickly.. and using slang (which i can admit to doing) won't help any :(

I hope you're not implying that I'm stuck up Ryan, because you can **** off :)

I've had enough of your childish little outbursts on here to last me a lifetime.

Well seeing as it (almost) directly followed my post, I assumed that was what you meant -_-

I apologise ^_^

Anyway, night people
