June 8, 200817 yr I think that's unfair. Neither is expected to, but both gave good accounts of themselves against teams who were odds on to beat them. Austria have a shout against Poland and might fluke a result against Germany and the Swiss can do the same with Turkey and Portugal respectively.

When British countries are in it I watch matches featuring these countries , but now there are no British countries in it, I just couldn't be bothered watching as i've no interest in it. :( For me it's just overkill. Comments like this from you just prove what a complete MORON you are. I'm not a big football fan, but even I can see why they show the matches even if no home nations are involved.

June 9, 200817 yr What a dreadul game. France looked absolutely awful and Romania's tactics were so dull (yet effective). Italy vs Romania should be a fun game haha. Holland vs Italy shall be interesting... hopefully it'll be a lot better game. Even though Romania set up very defensively France have two natural out and out wingers in Malouda and Ribery yet they never really challanged the Romania defence at all, Benzema looked average etc. I think what Martin O'Neill said about the players lacking confidence like Capello said with the English players is certainly relevant. You don't become that poor a team overnight.

The first goal has to go down as one of the most dodgy offside decisions ever. :lol: Even Van Nistelrooy knew he was offside. Is a good game though. I don't see Italy getting back into the game unless they make some big changes... playing 4-5-1 and being 2-0 down is never good. But on the balance of play so far I think both these teams will progress.

I reckon we could see a sort of upset in this group though now, with the Netherlands and Romania progressing. :o

I can see Romania getting a draw actually against the Netherlands, they're not a bad side really. ^_^ When do France and Italy play each other? If we have a loser from that game, I'd suspect that that country willa lmost certainly be out. An exciting group though. :D

The next 2 rounds of the group C will be the best rounds from the Euro Championship :yahoo: This first rpound France and italy were humiliated... What will it happen next round? i guess Italy can win over Romania, even if the game is random for both teams :lol: France cannot win over Hollnad because the quick game Holland has is impossible for France...
