not too bad a chart but a fair few rubbishy songs in there. That Beat song was released to promote a best of album. It had originally appeared on their 1980 debut album and was something of a cash-in.

i agree, unusually this cover was better then the original (which was good anyway). its not often a cover superceeds the original but this was one example.
