Didn't see a thread on this track in here, so I thought I'd start one. 'History (Land of the Free)' has apparently just leaked, and is one of the songs that didn't make the cut for 'Confessions on a Dance Floor'. It's floating round in various places atm, and it's really good! Has anyone else heard it?

Do you just mean "History". It was featured on the Maxi CD of "Jump".

i love history, but i perfered the original version more then the released version. Why did we end up with the edited version of the song, all the tracklistings say we were meant to have the original :(

I think David has just found "History", but with a different title.

yeah thats just History, released on the Jump single. I'm at work at the moment so i couldn't listen to it all properly but that version was shorter then the version released on the single. I'm not sure weather it was just faded out or weather it was edited. it's a nice little song though. :wub:

History (Land Of The Free) is the original demo.

The version on the Jump CD was a remix made from someone in Madonna's fansite.

what about keep the trance? that was similar to history as well. hmm.

'History (Land Of The Free)' (the recent leak!) is pretty poor...glad it didn't make the cut. :P
