Just because they differ why call me a fool? I started looking in to this with an open mind. I can assure you of that. I thought we'd been, just like you do. After reading several good conspiracy sites I honestly don't think we went to the moon, ever. I believe all the landings were filmed in the Nevada desert.

If debris from the Apollo missions was left on the Moon, then it would be visible today through a powerful telescope, however no such debris can be seen. The Clementine probe that recently mapped the Moons surface failed to show any Apollo artefacts left by Man during the missions. Where did the Moon Buggy and base of the LM go?

How would it involve "tens of thousands" though? Most people at NASA would have no idea. All it needed was a handful of people to know. Have you ever read about the mysterious deaths that befell a lot of people connected to the Apollo program?

Scientists only have an opinion that we went, just like you have.

I don't know whether we went or not but to completely dismiss the possibility that it was faked seems a bit irresponsible.

Speaking for myself, I used to entertain the notion that the moon landings were faked, it always seemed to me like the film "Capricorn One" was art imitating life :lol: , but then I got over the silliness when I actually looked at it rationally.... Conspiracies are all great and well, but they should be taken with a pinch of salt.... There are a few that seem pretty spot on and plausible (such as the Kennedy Assassination and one or two of the theories surrounding 9/11..), but in the main, they are absolute BUNK, and have no more voracity or factual basis than nonsense on TV such as "Most Haunted"....

but chris.... it aint about just nasa... its about every scientist around the world who had access to radio telescopes, to tracking data, to telescopes, etc.... thousands of people were in some way involved... what about the launches? why go to all that trouble?.. the navy recovering the capsule? we saw it land ...it was televised! it was tracked entering the earths atmosphere after comming back all the way from the moon... how tf did they fake that?....

 

i dismiss the possibility that it was all faked because it just doesnt hold 1 drop of water.... theres NO concrete scientific evidence, on the contrary, ALL the tangible evidence is clear.... it was no hoax, it did happen.

 

the problem i have with these theories is that it clouds the truth.... the truth is that we went to the moon, if people chose to believe the conspiracy theories as the truth then they spread lies! what sort of earth/society would it be if we all made up our own truth?... chaos... question what we are told... YES, but you have to balance things on both sides with proven facts and not fascinating theories.

tbh id take note if the russians at the time had made these claims..... dont forget it was the heart of the cold war and if they could, russia would have sunk any american falsehood put out.... russia with all its rescources tracked the apollo missions, russia accepts they are genuine, and russia would have been the first to blow the whistle.
