HERE’S ROBBIE WILLIAMS on his second night out in a row, trotting out of plush Hollywood nightclub Co Co Deville at 2am yesterday.

 

The muffin-loving teetotaller looks a little glossy around the eyes too. It must be down to those late nights.

 

Beardless Robbie has been hitting the town with a renewed vigour to celebrate his newly liberated visage.

The ‘Angels’ singer has reportedly told friends he "sees a lot of himself" in Lily and wants to spend an evening with her when she is in Los Angeles, where he lives.

Robbie hopes to take the 23-year-old singer – who has recently been criticised for her drunken antics – to his favourite restaurant STK before heading for a night of star gazing for spaceships. A friend of Robbie, 34, told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Robbie loves Los Angeles but the one thing he does miss is the British sense of humours and impudence, so Lily’s attitude appeals to him. “He thought it would be nice to meet up while she’s recording her album in town and got his people to call Lily’s people to invite her for dinner at his favourite restaurant.“

 

Rob likes to be a big brother figure to celebrities who seem to find themselves in the same position he has been – young and vulnerable and in the glare of the media. “And he feels that taking an interest in UFOs and the unknown is a good way of putting things in perspective, hence asking Lily to join him.” Earlier this week, it was revealed Robbie has taken up camping in the hope of seeing an alien. A source close to the star said: “Robbie has been taking pals out to the woods for long weekends. He wants to live like a cowboy in a Western. He also has a fascination with UFOs and thinks he has more chance of seeing one away from Los Angeles’ bright lights.”

 

Earlier this year, it was claimed Robbie was planning to splash out £2.5 million on an alien observatory after spending all his free time visiting Arizona's National Optical Astronomy Observatory, in Tucson. Robbie Williams could pick up £1.5million for one concert - but a source said it's "touch and go" if he will do it.

 

The singer is wanted to headline a festival in Sandness, Norway, for just half an hour - netting him £50,000 a minute. But Robbie, who is taking a break from music and has vowed not to tour because the last one "nearly killed me", might turn the offer down.

 

A source close to him said: "It would be probably the easiest money he'll make in his life but it's touch and go whether he'll say yes. We'll have to wait and see."

 

Robbie has posted on his blog: "The more time I'm spending away from public life, the more I like it." Robbie, 34, is also in dispute with his record label EMI after they were bought by private equity firm Terra Firm.

 

He has threatened to withhold the release of his next album which could jeopardise EMI's future.

He has told fans on his blog, "there definitely won't be a tour any time soon".

 

Robbie, who lives in Los Angeles, added: "I might put the B-sides to the next album out first online. Then put an album out in 2009 which means you won't be seeing a lot of me on stage."
