Posted June 2, 200817 yr Hard hats and protection at the ready for any McFly fans :P So yeah premiered last night on Radio 1, left their record company and going it alone on their own label 'Super Records' and it seems they're going a bit more 'rock', though mostly still like they were without their unwanted record company interferance. I'm still not sure if I like it that much or not myself, opinions?
June 2, 200817 yr I wasn't impressed tbh. Considering they've left their label and started their own one to 'do what they want', it's not too different from what they did before - just louder and less catchy. I'm sure I'll like it eventually though. It would be funny if it didn't get playlisted anywhere
June 2, 200817 yr What an awful song. It's hardly 'rock', or infact different to what they where doing on their old label. They're just still churning out really bad busted-'inspired' pop music for little girls.
June 2, 200817 yr Does anybody think they left their label because the chop could've been upon them? They hardly shift bucketloads these days do they? Hopefully this'll finish them for good. Very bad song and I can admit to an extent that some of their songs have been good. :P
June 2, 200817 yr Nice new nickname. Well their contract ended I heard, and it's pretty obvious they didn't want to renew their contract, otherwise they would of said. It's all been very 'we left and started our own label', but really it was their contract that ended and I suppose they just didn't get resigned.
June 2, 200817 yr I think this is awful tbh. I was expecting something different now they've left their old label, but alas no. It just sounds so bad!
June 2, 200817 yr It's just the same as their usual stuff but with heavier guitars. Don't think it works personally but their fanbase will ensure it charts high up no doubt.

June 3, 200817 yr They showed some promise with Heart Never Lies last year, and i reckon that could have been a bigger hit if it not been for Take That's Rule the World and Leona's Bleeding Love which stole all the sales for ballads at that time of year. However, this is back to bland McFly - and whats with all the screaming? It will be interesting where it charts though, with physical sales declining every week and if like last week they would need to sell at least 10,000 to be top 15. Will they sell enough to be top 10?
June 3, 200817 yr Its decent, But I certainly wouldn't leave it on when I'm flicking through the music channels!
June 3, 200817 yr Its AMAZING. Best Mcfly track yet (im not exactly their biggest fan) - very clever lyrics to all the haters.
June 3, 200817 yr actually Island offered Mcfly a new contract but Mcfly wanted to leave they'd allready made up there minds back last year to leave Both Mcfly and the label has stated this Of course, EVERY artist and label always have a cover up story.
June 3, 200817 yr Lol the money Island were raking in from the singles, albums but most obv. the tours would of been incredible. They would of no way let McFly down without the boys wanting to leave on their own accord.
