Physical is good, but I'm not really convinced that 'The One' will do that well. It's not as camp, poppy or sexy as previous singles, and is quite reptitive too. I like it obv, but will the public? :o :o :o

 

I disagree, I think 'The One' is classic Kylie, campy anthemic disco pop. The worst this will do is top 15 I think, but even so that's only because it's a 4th single and in this day and age, 4th singles generally struggle. The unexpected top 10 of 'In My Arms' proves how powerful her fanbase actually is.

 

Anyway, I posted saying that 'The One' was confirmed ages ago, but people chose not to believe me for some reason? :lol: I'm so relieved it has a physical though.

Anyway apparently radio in Sydney is already playing The One a fair bit, so hopefully she can get back at least into the Top 20 there.

I'm delighted this is getting a physical release, if radio get behind the song it will go top 5 but i think the one will def go top 10, i like many fans i also love like a drug but i love theo ne also so lets do what we can for the one to make it big

Yes, the same insiders who stated long before we ever got a tracklist that the second single was going to be Wow, a title no ordinary fans had even heard previously, and the same insiders who know she would be filming both the Wow and IMA vids back-to-back in America. The same insiders, in fact, who Victoria Newton and their chums actually get their information from, once it's been posted on SayHey. ;)

I remember back in 2001, Warners wanted 'Amazing' as the 4th single, but Madonna wanted 'Impressive Instant' (iirc). To get the point accross just before her tour she took 'Amazing' out of the 'Drowned World' setlist and refused to promote it. In the end no 4th single was released :cry:

I think radio will love "The One" and so will the nightclubs. I'll certainly be requesting it on nights out! Kylie is lovely and sweet and not as ruthless as Madonna.

Who says Madonna is even a diva? :heehee: I certainly think that, lovely as Kylie is, she could be very ruthless if she wanted to, and if things weren't going her way could probably throw a diva strop just as loudly as Madonna could. :P
