June 23, 200817 yr i've never heard of velvet underground Says it all really.....  Anyone who honestly rates Queen over the Velvets, Sabbath or Led Zep is really talking sh!te as far as I'm concerned..... Totally with Richie on what he says as well.... Thank fukk the actual musicians heard of them..... Velvet Underground is responsible for inspiring far more interesting music than Queen were......
June 23, 200817 yr Where's Sepultura?!?!? That's expecting a bit too much John..... What isn't expecting too much, however, is for people to acknowledge that Led Zep, Hendrix, Velvets and Sabbath are way more important in terms of Rock History than Nirvana (as much as I may have liked 'em at the time....) or Queen.....

They should be number one just for Desperate Cry, Mass Hypnosis and Sarcastic Exsistence!!!! lol Agreed, without either one of Sabbath, Led Zep or Hendrix you wouldn't have Nirvana.... not only that but Nirvana didn't write songs of the same standard as the bands mentioned. Where's Vio-lence?!?!?! or Testament?!?!?! or Death?!?!?!! or Stormtroopers of Death? or Suicidal Tendencies?!?!!?! or Joaquín Rodrigo?!?!? c**p list.... lol

You wouldn't have Nirvana without Killing Joke either mate..... Considering they ripped off the riff from KJ's "Eighties" for "Come As You Are"......  Oh, yeah, and Dave Grohl did the drumming on KJ's comeback album a few years back..... Grohl should stick to being a drummer really, he's BLOODY good at it........
