**ANALYSIS**

 

Shakira has finally been dethroned off the top of my chart after months of regning. Only once since the song leaked has the song not been at number 1. The surprise #1 comes from the fantastic Indie Irie with her new single 'I Am Not My Hair'. Shakira May No longer be #1, but dont expect the song to go away anytime soon! A song that frequently challenged HDL but never quite took over is Nelly Furtado 'Maneater' which is still strong in the top 5. Rihanna and Mariah level out the rest of the top 5. A face which some people love and some people hate appears now, with Paris Hilton making an appearance with 'Screwed'. At 10, the only song before India to dethrone the mighty Hips lays. Mary J. Blige's 'One' is a highlight of her album, but it seems it doesnt have the power to climb anymore, as it clings onto the top 10. Also noticeable throough the chart are 3 eurovision entries at 9,11 and 20. Carola and Anna make a well deserved appearance in my chart, while daz Sampson makes a brief entry as the chorus is rather catchy ^_^ In my chart, album tracks may appear, but shall never get into the top 10. This may perhaps falter Shakira and 'En Tu Pupilas' which glides into 16. A Beautiful song, unfortunately will never break the top 10.

 

in the albums, Christina Milians 3rd album reigns supreme, and Rihanna must once again settle for 2nd place with her album. Jamie Foxx makes a surprise entry at #3, as does Simon Webbe at #10. Both of Shakiras Fixations appear, with spanish being higher than the english, as does Sugababes, Ashlee, utada and mariah
