Posted June 16, 200817 yr The Sugababes do not believe that Cheryl Cole is the right choice for the X Factor judging panel. Cole was named as Sharon Osbourne's replacement on the ITV reality show last week, but the band said the role should have gone to someone more experienced. Keisha Buchanan told The Mirror: "Actually, I would have preferred Boy George. He has got so much more experience, and so many more years behind him. I think he would have been much better as the judge." Amelle Berrabah backed up her bandmate's opinion, saying: "Yeah, Boy George has generations more on her. Not that Cheryl hasn't got any experience, but someone who has been going for as long as he has should have been given a chance." I kind of agree, but Cheryl has the experience of going through what the contestants went through.
June 16, 200817 yr Boy George? :heehee: Yah, maybe if they could keep him off the crack for longer than an hour. Anyway this is obviously bullshit. Nobody talks in the way those quotes have been written. :heehee:
June 17, 200817 yr Indeed. Boy George has like no relevance anymore either, he's sold like no more than 100,000 albums in the past 10 years!!
June 17, 200817 yr People presume older people know more coz they have been around longer. Not necessarily, cheryl has been through the same thing and because she is already in the industry, she can give them the here and now advice - not tell them how fab and different the 80's were. Oh and i hope keisha didnt say that as its got jealousy written allover it. Edited June 17, 200817 yr by Robintime11
June 18, 200817 yr Seems like some cruddy attempt to relight a GA Sugababes war. Shame on The Mirror, shame on them!
June 22, 200817 yr I dunno if they are wanting to start a war though coz none of the papers picked up on GA and the sugababes releasing CSF and denial at the same time. That would have been perfect for them.
