Elvis Should Play Ska - The Graduate

 

Group included Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, who formed Tears For Fears in 1981 (a year after this song was released) when Graduate split.

 

"Elvis" was Elvis Costello who had in fact made a ska record in 1979 with 2 Tone but was prevented from releasing it because of contractual reasons. He also produced the first album by The Specials.

 

 

 

Toast - Streetband

 

Paul Young back in 1978 with one hit wonders Streetband. The song began life as the B side but began to get radio play and became the main side.
