June 23, 200817 yr ^ Considering the amount of years that she has been going for and the amount of records she has broken, she does deserve a star... just because she doesn't release in england much, doesn't mean she hasn't achieved much... If i was shakira i wouldn't want to release music in such an ignorant country to other cultures anyway.. There are some stupid people on that list tho like the village people and felicity huffman.

June 24, 200817 yr i hope so too, shakira is huge in the US and internationally so deserves it! one of the biggest selling female artists this decade, blows many other female singers (who may court the media more than her) out of the water. not only that she has not had a flop era since she took creative control at 18. we had PD, DELL, LS, FO1 AND OF2. 5 hit albums in a row!! her star is shining strong :friends:

UGH Shakira is the only artist to have A spanish song(La Tourtura) played on US and Europe Main Radio, she works as an embassador of the UNICEF,she has GRAMMYS and Latin Grammys,MTV US,EUROPE, LATIN A etc; She is the FIRST latin to air her All in Spanish MTV Unplugged on The U.S.A. She has had chart success, HDL broke records of airplay, not to mention Whenever Wherever and Laundry service wich sold 13 millions, her last Tour of More than 120 dates had Arenas and Stadiums SOLD OUT around the world. (USA,EUROPE,LATIN AMERICA,THE MIDDLE EAST) etc etc etc I really can go on and onnnnn.
