Bonekickers, a new six-part drama series for BBC One from Matthew Graham and Ashley Pharoah (Monastic Productions), the writers and creators of the hit series Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes; and Michele Buck and Damien Timmer of Mammoth Screen.

Been advertising for a while on BBC1, seen the odd trailers and it looks good, its a bit like a crossover between Indiana Jones and National Treasure

I think the series starts when Dr.Who finishes on Saturdays

 I was thinking of starting a thread about this, because I saw an advert for it after Dr. Who and it looks great!

Is Mickey from Hustle in it as well? I think I saw him in the advert, but I'm not completely sure...

Did anyone watch it?

Very impressive, potential to be an excellent series.

my m8 saw it and reckons its the biggest load of bollox the license fee has ever funded...

dont forget us detectorists are also amateur archeologists.

Hmmm looks exciting, but it was WAY ott, with the whole Jesus' cross thing! I know it is fiction and a drama, but come on!

They had only just found a bit of wood, realised it had blood on it and then decided it was Jesus'!!!

I think the storyline about Gillian's mum was intriguing though...hopefully that will be carried on throughut the series, so it unwinds more and more.

I'll carry on watching it, but hopefully it'll be better in the next episodes :D

Isn't Martha's sister from Doctor Who in this?

Oh that's who she was!

Thanks for clearing that up -I knew I recognised her from somewhere...so in response to your question...yes! :)

Give it time, it was only the first episode, but I enjoyed it, it was something new and fresh that has never been done before.

What an absolutely lousy "Da Vinci Code" rip-off this is......  Utterly laughable stuff, makes Dan Brown look like Umberto Eco (writer of "Name of the Rose")...   This is just another example of how British Drama is going in the fukkin' toilet..... -_-

"Life on Mars" was pretty good, but this....... :puke2:
