Posted June 25, 200817 yr Hi guys has anyone registered on http://www.chartsplus.co.uk to get the weekly chart. I did but not sure when supposed to get the first newsletter. Ive emailed them but got nothing back. Anyone got a clue ?
June 25, 200817 yr If you paid the subscription, tomorrow morning you should have in you Inbox the newsletter ;) Herman is quite busy lately, so he does reply to all the messages :( But, if you paid IqWare, be sure tomorrow the newsletter arrives :teresa: xox.
June 25, 200817 yr what is IqWare ? IqWare is the company that edits the ChartsPlus ;) Inside the payment you see IqWare not Charts Plus, that's why I mentioned them B) Dunnot worry mate, you'll get the newsletter this week for sure (they start the subscription as soon as a payment is done). This I know for sure xox.
June 25, 200817 yr Author Thank you. Really appreciate it. When I had no email bk I thought I had wasted all that money. Pleased ot know I didnt lol
June 25, 200817 yr Thank you. Really appreciate it. When I had no email bk I thought I had wasted all that money. Pleased ot know I didnt lolTo be on the safe side, add chartsplus.co.uk to your safe list for emails. It shouldn't end up in the trash folder, but better to be safe than sorry. If you've only just signed up you may not receive C+ this week, sometimes if your name isn't on the subscription list on the Monday or Tuesday you may not get the issue sent out on a Wednesday or Thursday. You probably will receive the current issue but there's a slight chance it could be next week before your first issue arrives.

Well, let's hope for the best there :teresa: If Dannyboy did the subscription today, indeed it's quite hard to get tomorrow's issue... But if you really want that issue in your collection, send Herman a mail and he'll send ya the issue and it's gonna be the moment you begin the subscription... heard others did the same :P xox. June 26, 200817 yr Author maybe you can helps me though. What does the sco/wls column mean in the singles chart ? And in the airplay chart what does the ratings and sales columns mean becuase I thought the airplay chart was just simply based on how many times it on radio yet someone can have lower plays yet be higher in the chart.

And in the airplay chart what does the ratings and sales columns mean becuase I thought the airplay chart was just simply based on how many times it on radio yet someone can have lower plays yet be higher in the chart. The Sco/Wal column refers to a single's position in Scotland or Wales on physical sales - which is of course a lot less meaningful than it used to be... IRO the airplay chart - it is based on an estimate of how many people hear a record, not just the number of weekly spins. For each radio station, there is an estmate of listener numbers (compiled by Rajar), and so a record that gets played by R1 or R2 will be heard by far more people than one on a local station. The estimated number of listeners for each play gets added up, and sorted into descending order to give the ranking that is the airplay chart.

June 26, 200817 yr Another question guys. Is it musicweek that gives the midweek info ? And if yes, whats their site becuase my mate is interested in registering. Thanks The mid week data usually gets posted around the internet soon after appearing on the Music Week website anyway, so a subscription is not that vital if it's only mids your friend wants. Haven, for example post mids data, as do chc and, I think, here. Should really read more posts here! I believe that their are over 100 total subscribers, though I don;t know for certain. It is a figure that keeps rising each week and, as I'm sure you have realized, it is well worth the money - Music week don't always update on time and frequently miss things out.... BTW - thanks for the nice comments about me (above).
