June 27, 200817 yr My freeview TV guide doesn't have any kind of Top 40 on The Hits this Monday :( However they are currently playing the official top 100 dance songs since 2000 Edit: Ah, I see the Hit40UK show is on Tuesdays on The Hits now. Edited June 27, 200817 yr by spiker

June 27, 200817 yr Maybe it's because a lot of the songs on the OCC chart haven't had an official release so don't have a video? That's only a very rare occurence though. Well, it happened this week with Coldplay but that's number 1 in both charts.
June 27, 200817 yr Starting from next Monday, it's been turned into the hit40uk countdown based on radio play and sales. Has their contract with TOCC expired, or what?? They will need OCC permission to play Hit40 UK as well. I think it could be because of all these album tracks without videos that are creeping into the bottom end of the Top 40. Most of these won't chart in Hit40 UK. It will mean though that they are playing a lot of old airplay hits that are no longer in the official Top 40. Edited June 27, 200817 yr by Dave B
June 27, 200817 yr Great. So in turn that means the most overplayed songs will be getting even more overplay. :manson:
June 27, 200817 yr Author Great. So in turn that means the most overplayed songs will be getting even more overplay. :manson: Yeah, that's what I thought. I just can't wait to hear Rockstar in the chart for the rest of the year
June 27, 200817 yr Grrr... very annoying! I've really enjoyed these shows for the last 9 months or so. Each week they very proudly point out that it's the Official Chart compiled by the Official Charts Company. I wonder what happened?
June 28, 200817 yr Less money maybe for the license? -_- God knows what's the problem with the Box, but lately in my thread they're reported quite few fresh videos :( Franky, if I were one of the persons that organise The Box schedule, I'll choose the Hit40UK show being more interesting than the boooorinnnng Official UK Top 40 :P But that's only me, even if I follow the UK Top 200 not the Hit 40 UK (but the songs to be broadcasted are more interesting -_- ). xox.
