July 7, 200817 yr 507.598 This is the official total sales for his Rudebox album so far Do you mean ' total/total...or just in the UK.....it was in the official EMI accounts posted last year that it was 2.5 million worldwide.....

That's OK...I guess he was lucky to even sell that many of them....not a lot of takers on the Rudebox direction even though there are some great tracks on there but far too may covers....hope next one will have less tracks & more substance....... ^_^ cmon' Robbie we could do with some ' ass kicking ' material.... :wub:
July 9, 200817 yr But without Rudebox we wouldn't have had The Actor, Scorp. :wub: :wub: :wub: I absolutley agree Jups....I love :wub: that track & think it should have been a single... :P ...but the album contained too many covers...the originals were great...why all the covers...Robbie says that he has fifty songs sitting there ready to go so why did he not use some of them...ok maybe they would not fit well together on an album but imo the songs on Rudebox did not fit easily together either... :mellow: :(
July 12, 200817 yr I would say, apart from the UK, Rudebox single & album was a smash hit. and I find it most odd that Robbie made the decision to go out of the limelight based on the UK alone, he was on a high everywhere else. still it will be great when he comes back that is for sure.
