July 14, 200817 yr Author also, how many albums does an album have to sell in aus to get 4 x plat sales i found 280, 000. that seems way big for oz considering her new album hasnt prob made the 100, 000 yet. i read somewhere that body language sold 1.8 mill ww, is that true? i read somwhere that bl sold like hundereds of thousands in U.S scott Edited July 14, 200817 yr by scott
July 14, 200817 yr Author wow! thats amazing lol. how come x was such a flop in the US? over here X has sold around the same as BL and LY hasnt it? yet it hasnt managed great sales in US an OZ. how close is X to a million? must be close now
July 14, 200817 yr Over here X has by far surprassed Light Years and Body Language. As for the US, I guess Body Language was in the wake of Fever where she had massive success there, and since then she's faded. Also the music on X isn't what the US go for, so she didn't get support. At the moment I think X is on about 930k worldwide. :(
July 14, 200817 yr Author nothing kylie releases is what the US go for. maybe if they picked a better single or if they put the cd at a good price for them to buy. what are BL and LY sales for the uk. how can ppl say X is a flop over here? i believe its done good, not amazing, but its done good. 70, 000 away from a million. such a shame. awwww bless, it might have got nearer if the one was promoted. for a UK based act, 1 million sales ww is great, isnt it?
July 14, 200817 yr Body Language did 398k up until the point X was released, it'll have probably sneaked past 400k now. As for Light Years, I'm not 100% sure. About 350k?
July 14, 200817 yr Body Language did 398k up until the point X was released OMG i didn't realise it sold that few in 4 years  i thought about 600k How many has IP sold? I'm getting about 120.000. Edited July 14, 200817 yr by Glyn
July 14, 200817 yr 60,000 for Impossible Princess. :o Which renders it her lowest selling studio album sadly.
July 14, 200817 yr 60,000 for Impossible Princess. :o Which renders it her lowest selling studio album sadly. :o that is really sad. It's one of her best in my eyes, it's a shame many people haven't had the chance to hear it :( To think that Coldplay sold 500% more then that in just 3 days  (Mind you, i say IP is her best, they are all amazing, the only one that i wasn't fussed on was KM94 )
July 16, 200816 yr Over here X has by far surprassed Light Years and Body Language. As for the US, I guess Body Language was in the wake of Fever where she had massive success there, and since then she's faded. Also the music on X isn't what the US go for, so she didn't get support. At the moment I think X is on about 930k worldwide. :( There's as much US-friendly music on X (Speakerphone, perhaps Like A Drug) as there is on Body Language (RBW, perhaps Slow). I seem to recall Kylie doing about nine talk shows in total when promoting Body Language; this time she did just three. She doesn't seem to care. Light Years is on 300k UK and about 1.5m globally, I think. Body Language 400k UK and 1.7m globally. Edited July 16, 200816 yr by Jark
