I am a confessed obsessed fan of Chris Cornell, I'm just curious what are some favorite songs off his solo albums from everyone would be. Personally, I love "when I'm down" Can't Change me, Finally Forever, Arms Around your Love, Safe and Sound, and Your Soul Today. I also love the new single from his album thats about to come out called "Long Gone" if you haven't heard it yet, go to his myspace page and take a listen. I love the new one and can't wait to hear more at his Projekt Revolution Tour...So tell me what you guys all think!!!!

Im sorry but i think he is a complete c**t.

Soundgarden were alright-ish

Audioslave were only acceptable because of Tom, Brad and Tim.

and his solo stuff is just :puke2:

I only know one song by him...You Know My Name from Casino Royale, which I think is a great song and fits really well with the credits of the film.

Haven't looked into any of his other stuff though

tbh he so did not deserve a bond theme and made an... annoying job of it.
Don't like him either, Soundgarden reminded me too much of Pearl Jam and hey were f***ing awful.
He's not that bad! Some of his solo stuff may be weak, and he's been 'loosing' his voice for a while, but Audioslave where cool.

It was absolute PISH wasn't it... I would've happily missed the opening credits of "Casino Royale" because of his sh!t song, but unfortunately, that would've meant missing the excellent opening prologue to the film.. So, unfortunately had to suffer this awful tune.... He used to have a really great, distinctive Rock Singer voice, but now just seems to have forgotten how to sing....

I dont really think much of Cornell's Post-Soundgarden stuff tbh.. And dont agree with Richie's assessment of Soundgarden at all, they were MILES better than Pearl Jam.. "Superunknown" is one of the best Hard Rock albums on the 90s as far as I'm concerned, "Badmotorfinger" and "Louder Than Love" are pretty damn good as well.... Cornell's work with Temple of the Dog is also pretty okay....

If what Rooney is saying is true about this R&B direction, well, now, that's just him losing it entirely....

I don't know his stuff too much but I like "Wave Goodbye" and this song has very nice lyrics too:-).
