August 13, 200816 yr They were asked whether the successful comebacks by Take That or the Spice Girls inspired them to reform. They denied this, but then went on with the exception of Jordan Knight to trash Take That: "Who?", "They only did one good song"; "their comeback material is boring" & insult Robbie Williams "Wasn't he the Bobby Brown of the group and just as mad & bad?". Still the highlight of this week's usually poor Heat magazine (that I flicked through quickly during my lunch hour) was an interview with Dannii Minogue where she revealed Simon Cowell's thoughts on her selecting Leon Jackson last year as one of her three choices: "No talent and no charisma". Oh those naughty Kids! Having said that ... on the trashing of Take That - I think 99% of Buzzjack would agree (me, Pete and yourself of course are the 1%). Still - that is their loss! On Simon Cowell's thoughts though ... you can't really argue with that can you? Norma Edited August 13, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
August 13, 200816 yr I reckon this will be a flop. New Kids were never really a massive group and their popularity didnt last for long..they have left it too long to come back and I cant see this rechurning much interest.
August 14, 200816 yr Top 200. The world just ISN'T crying out for a New Kids On The Block reunion like it was for Take That and the Spice Girls. Im sorry but i have to disagree becaus in america & canada people are going crazy over nkotb's return and in fact they are doing alot better than bs at the moment too.Much respect for Take That but spice girls im not even gonna go there.
August 14, 200816 yr Well I watched the video. I don't know really what to say. I loved them when I was a kid in the 80s. Now it looks so odd: they act like if they were still in their 20s but they are not. The song is not that good either, just mediocre. If they wanted to come back they have needed something big, this is not. Maybe low top 40 but it can miss out.
