Miley Cyrus' debut album 'Breakout', was released in the USA on July 22nd, and will be released in the UK on August 25th. It features her single '7 Things'. It is very likely to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 next week, with first day sales of over 110,000.

I really do hate her but I'm willing to give the album a try if people think it's good

I ordered it from Ebay from the USA, and it arrived today. It is fantastic! :wub:

I love her cover of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" and also "Fly on The Wall"

 

But overall Im quite dissapointed with this album. Considering she said it was called "Breakout" because its her growing up etc it sounds something of a stepback in sound. Especially after the amazing and more grown up "See You Again"

She should be shot for her trashing cover of GJWTHF, it is rubbish! The only decent thing she had done as herself is See You Again, and the only decent hannah song is best of both worlds. However the video for SYA (above) looks really rubbish, and probably wont do much for her over here. If there is no promotion, or only a little this will flop.

Lets be real, its an amazing song. Regardless of if people like who sing it or not. And whilst Im on that, why do people automaticly try not to like disney artists anyway? People take pop music to seriously me thinks :wacko:

There's like 4 or 5 good songs on the CD, but I'm actually disappointed with the other. I don't know, sometimes I don't like her voice, she changes it too much, like on "Girls Wanna Have Fun". I mean it's alright, but I recommend to listen "Breakout" "7 Things" "Fly on the Wall" "Bottom of the Ocean" and of course "SYA". ^_^

 

I AM REALLY GLAD THAT SHE DEBUTED no.1 though. That makes it her third consecutive no.1 debuter. What's the record for the most no.1 debuting consecutive CDs? Isn't it like 4 by Britney?

EUGH, Why???! The remix version is so limp. :cry: The original is ace!

The remix was the hit version in the US, its what big radio stations like Z100 playlisted. Makes sense that R1 would playlist that version, I kinda prefer it too.

The remix version is the official for the single release over here, because in the UK Video, it had the remix.

I love both. It's been on my chart for about a year.
