Posted July 29, 200816 yr Alicia Keys; Jack White Team For Bond Theme July 29, 2008 , 3:05 PM ET Alicia Keys and the White Stripes' Jack White will record the theme song to "Quantum of Solace," the 22nd James Bond film, which hits U.S. theaters Nov. 7. The song, "Another Way To Die," will be the first duet in Bond soundtrack history. White wrote and produced the song, and also will play drums. The soundtrack to the movie will be released Oct. 28. The score for the film will be composed by David Arnold. "Quantum of Solace," starring Daniel Craig, will be directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and Paul Haggis. July 31, 200816 yr Incredibly disappointing, I don't mind Jack White, but it should be Alison Goldfrapp or Amy Winehouse, obviously..... -_- A good idea for a duet would be Alison and Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode actually...... Still, cant be as bad as that fukkin' Chris Cornell pile of cr@p from "Casino Royale".....
July 31, 200816 yr hmmm... great combo but I wanted Goldfrapp to do it. Duffy was never in the running, she has got a single release for October for another movie soundtrack apparently.
July 31, 200816 yr Thank God this doesn't have any of the "it should be a British act" sh!t that I've read elsewhere, as if it's set in stone that it should be a British act doing it 'cos James Bond's from Britain. The last British act to do so was Duran Duran in 1985 (23 years ago). I know Shirley Manson from Garbage is from Edinburgh, but the others come from Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin - therefore, they don't count.

August 1, 200816 yr Maybe Alicia's voice is more fit to that song rather than amy or duffy.. Let's wait and see if it's a good song and rhymed well with alicia.. Can't wait to hear it.
August 3, 200816 yr I am a little bit gutted that it's not Amy doing the song. I think Amy has that little bit darkness which works very well with Bond Film atmosphere.
